- Campus Recreation
The Campus Recreation Department provides quality recreational programs, services and facilities that maximize opportunities for life long learning, personal development and leadership through varied recreational endeavors. Campus Recreation includes the Bobby E. Leach Student Recreation Center, the Rec SportsPlex, the campus Intramural Complex, the Reservation lake front facility, Tully Gymnasium, Outdoor Pursuits, Fitness, Aquatics and Sport Clubs programs. - The Career Center
The Career Center's role is to provide comprehensive career services, train career service practitioners, conduct life/career development research, and disseminate information about life/career services and issues to the university. The Career Center develops programs and services to support the university instruction, research, and service mission by providing a centralized, integrated career development and placement program for students of Florida State University and the university community. As a centralized comprehensive career services office, the Career Center is involved in a wide variety of programs including career planning services, experiential education, course instruction and, research. - Center for Academic Retention & Enhancement
The mission of C.A.R.E. is to assist in facilitating the successful retention and graduation of undergraduate students, while working to enhance student diversity. This is achieved through programs of outreach and support to students who are disadvantaged due to economic, educational or cultural circumstances. The center provides both, pre-collegiate and collegiate programs of recruitment, preparation, enrichment, orientation, academic support, counseling and advocacy which are targeted primarily to those who are first-generation college students. - Center for Global Engagement
The Center for Global Engagement is the office assigned by the University to provide comprehensive immigration services and advising to international students, scholars, faculty and staff. The Center for Global Engagement is certified by the federal government's Student and Exchange Visitor Program. It is also designated by the US Department of State as an Exchange Visitor Program Sponsor, enabling the University to bring in international students, scholars, and researchers. - Center for Leadership and Civic Education
The Center exists for the training, development, education, and engagement of citizenship and leadership. The mission of the Center for Leadership and Civic Education is to enhance the education of students for responsible citizenship and effective leadership. - Center for Multicultural Affairs
The mission of the Center for Multicultural Affairs at Florida State University is to create a welcoming environment that is inclusive of all students. To that end, the Center for Multicultural Affairs provides advocacy, support services, and culturally based programs that educate students on diversity and multiculturalism and empowers them to be agents of social change in an increasingly diverse and global community. - Communications & Marketing Office
The Office of Communications serves the departments within the Division of Student Affairs as well as provides support for projects of the Vice President for Student Affairs. We are a full-service communications office, offering assistance in news releases, publications management, graphic design, web design, online communication, as well as marketing and special events. - Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Department provides services, resources, and advocacy for all students at Florida State University through creative problem-solving, accessibility, and an emphasis on personal accountability. The Department provides leadership development opportunities through Greek Life, New Student and Family Programs, Student Disability Resource Center, Student Rights and Responsibilities, and Victim Advocate Program. The Department also responds to and helps resolve crisis situations. - Oglesby Union
The Oglesby Union is a student-centered organization through volunteers, boards, committees and student employment offers experiences in citizenship and educates students in leadership and social and ethical responsibility. The Student Affairs Office of Research and Programs provides professional leadership, expertise, and technical assistance to the Division of Student Affairs in developing, conducting, and maintaining high quality assessment, evaluation, and research projects. - Student Government Association
The Student Government Association is the student's voice at Florida State University. SGA has all three branches of the government - executive, legislative, and judicial. The student body president, vice president, and treasurer are elected in the spring semester. They work to enhance the quality of life for students and to work with the administration to the benefit of students. The judicial branch decides alleged violations of the student body constitution and statutes. The legislative branch represents students through fall and spring elections by academic units. It budgets more than ten million dollars of activity and service fees. These funds support Campus Recreation, Oglesby Union and student activities/organizations. Elected and appointed officials enjoy many opportunities to acquire leadership and administrative skills. - Thagard Student Health Center
Thagard Student Health Center, Florida State University's fully accredited primary care facility, provides a full range of medical services and outreach programs. Staffed by a team of board-certified professionals, Thagard offers general medical care, psychiatric services, women's care, and allergy clinics, as well as lab and radiology department. - University Counseling Center
The University Counseling Center (UCC) provides mental health counseling services and prevention programming to currently enrolled FSU students free of charge. Services include brief, solution-focused individual counseling, unlimited group psychotherapy, psychological assessment (including alcohol and other drug assessments) and crisis intervention to help students resolve personal concerns which may be interfering with academic progress, social development and emotional well-being. In addition, the UCC provides consultation services, outreach presentations and prevention programming for the University community. - University Housing
University Housing provides on-campus accommodations for 7,200 undergraduate and graduate?students in seventeen residence halls and at Alumni Village. The department administers all campus childcare services.

- The John C. Dalton Institute on College Student Values
The Jon C. Dalton Institute on College Student Values is an annual conference for student affairs professionals, educators, campus ministers, graduate and undergraduate students interested in character development in college students. - Character Clearinghouse
Character Clearinghouse is an online center for research, curricula, and student affairs resources relating to moral development of college students. Initiated by Jon C. Dalton with a grant from the John Templeton Foundation, it previously shared its home website with the Journal of College and Character at collegevalues.org. - The Hardee Center
The Hardee Center for Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education supports the academic study and professional development of graduate students in the higher education program at Florida State University and promotes the "Life Net" of students, alumni, faculty, and friends.
