• How do I apply to FSU?

• What kind of Financial Aid is available for students?
Florida State University offers a variety of financial aid packages including grants, loans, and scholarships. All that is needed to apply is the free application for Federal Student Aid
• What are the dates of the start and close of the semester?
The academic calendar is available through the Registrar's Office at http://registrar.fsu.edu
• When can I move into my residence hall?
Residence Hall move-in and move-out dates are posted on the housing website, http://housing.fsu.edu
• Where can I find a map of campus?
Campus maps are available at http://www.fsu.edu/Campus/newmap/
• How do I apply for on-campus housing?
You can apply for University Housing online by visiting http://housing.fsu.edu
• How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?
Official transcripts must be ordered through the Registrar's Office, http://registrar.fsu.edu. Unofficial transcripts for current students are available through Secure Apps, located in Blackboard
• Do I have to be a student to get access to the Leach Center or FSU Reservation?
You must have a valid FSUCard to gain access to the Leach Center. Faculty & staff can purchase a membership package for access.
Entrance to the FSU Reservation is free for students. Non-students may enter for a small fee.

• How do I join a club or get involved?
There are several ways to get involved on campus. Take a look at the "Information & Services for Students" page, and look for the topics "Engagement, Involvement, & Career Planning" and "Campus Life @ FSU"
• I want to volunteer in the community, how do I start?
Contact the Center for Leadership & Civic Education. They will provide a list of organizations and help get the volunteer service recorded on your transcript.
• How can I find a job on campus?
The Career Center is a reliable resource for students searching for a way to make ends meet. The user can access the Career Center's website, http://career.fsu.edu, to view available positions, requirements, and contact for additional information.
• Are first year students required to live on campus?
No, students are not required to live on campus their first year. There are a variety of benefits to living on campus, including location, getting involved, meeting people, and more. For more information regarding on-campus living, visit http://housing.fsu.edu
• How many students are enrolled at FSU?
In Fall 2010, there were 40,838 students enrolled at Florida State. For more details and the most recent information, please visit the Office of Institutional Research at http://ir.fsu.edu
• How do I withdraw from the University?

• My Medical Insurance company is requesting enrollment verification. How can I obtain that information?
