Elizabeth "Liz" Maryanski, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Financial Operations

Elizabeth "Liz" Maryanski was appointed Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Financial Operations on April 23, 2003.

With more than 23 years of experience in higher education, Maryanski has spent 20 years working in fiscal policy, management and budget development and implementation.

"Liz will be a tremendous asset to the Student Affairs team," said Mary Coburn, vice president for Student Affairs. "The combination of her technical skills with her concern for students will help us solve problems creatively and develop programs to meet university needs."

Maryanski most recently was the vice president of Administrative Services at Tallahassee Community College. Her duties included the fiscal management of student affairs accounts, including the Student Government Association, and many restricted accounts. During her tenure, TCC consistently received outstanding audits on both the state and federal levels.

In addition to her commitment to higher education, Maryanski has shown commitment to the Tallahassee community as a board member of the Leon County Educational Facilities Authority since July 1997 and as a board member and treasurer of the Leon County Humane Society since January 2001.

Maryanski earned her master of business administration degree from FSU in spring 1988 and her bachelor of science degree in accounting from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala., in fall 1976.
