When Can I visit?
- Parent's Weekend (Fall Semester)
Parents' Weekend takes place in the Fall Semester. Events include a home football game, Circus home shows, an address from the President, the Fun Run, and more! Registration opens in the summer - Family Weekend (Spring Semester)
There are three weekends which are packed full of activities - too many for us to choose just one - so we encourage you to choose which of these weekends fits your interest, schedule, and convenience. - FSU Athletics

Giving Back

Support of the Division of Student Affairs is essential to continue the work we do in preparing students for post-collegiate life. The mission of the Florida State University Foundation, Inc. is to enhance the academic vision and priorities of The Florida State University through its organized fundraising activities and funds management. Established in 1960, the Foundation, a non-profit corporation, today manages an endowment that exceeds $390 million and has total assets of $499 million (as of December 31, 2010). - Seminole Boosters
As the fundraising arm of the Florida State University, Seminole Boosters, Inc. is charged with generating current and deferred contributions for the purpose of enriching the overall educational environment of the Florida State University Athletic Program and providing financial security, which contributes to the program's long term growth and prosperity. - Alumni Association

How Can Students Get Involved on Campus?

The Division of Student Affairs and its departments sponsor hundreds of events each semester for students to attend, on campus and free of charge - Student Government Association
The Student Government Association is the student’s voice at Florida State University with three branches of the government–executive, legislative, and judicial. SGA budgets more than ten million dollars of activity and service fees each year to Student Organizations, the Oglesby Union, and Campus Recreation. - Fridays at the Union
You’ll always find excitement and variety with activities and events presented by Union Productions, the Student Life Cinema, the Art Center, Crenshaw Lanes, and Seminole Dining - Summer Noles
There are plenty of events during the summer as well! - Seminole Sensation Week
FSU welcomes new and returning students to campus for the fall with a week packed full of events, most of which are free for students. Includes the Last Call Before Fall concert, Movies on the Green, New Student Convocation, and more! - Student Activities Center
The Student Activities Center believes that student involvement outside of the classroom contributes to important learning gains and a well rounded college experience that prepares students for life after graduation. Student Activities oversees Dance Marathon, Homecoming,, Seminole Sensation Week, and more - The Center for Leadership & Civic Education
The Center exists for the training, development, education, and engagement of citizenship and leadership. The mission of the Center for Leadership and Civic Education is to enhance the education of students for responsible citizenship and effective leadership. - Campus Recreation
Students can work out at the Leach Center, join a Sports Club or Intramural Team, reconnect with nature through Outdoor Pursuits and the FSU Reservation, and more.

The Advising First program, part of the Division of Undergraduate Studies, strategically places professional academic advisors and success coaches to serve students within academic units and established Advising First centers throughout the university. - Academic Center for Excellence
