Student Profiles of Service Applications Available

Are you committed to serving others? You should apply for the Student Profiles of Service award, an award sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and the Center for Leadership and Civic Education, recognizing individual students who demonstrate exemplary commitment to community service at local, national, or international levels. Honorees are featured as a Student Star on Blackboard, have their photo and biography published in the FSView and receive recognition at the Center for Leadership and Civic Education’s year end banquet. Applications are now available on our website: serve2learn.fsu.edu as well as at the Center for Leadership and Civic Education, located at 922 Traditions Way (across from the Student Life Building). Applications due November 8 at 5PM.

Beyond Borders Applications!

This unique exchange program offers an alternative to traditional academic study abroad programs and provides students with short-term, rich cultural learning experiences through immersion in the target cultures. Small groups of 10-12 students spend one week at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica during FSU spring break; or three weeks after the end of spring semester at either the Technical University in Dresden, Germany; or the University of Costa Rica's branch campus in Turrialba, Costa Rica.
