Scholarship Provides Cultural, Academic Exchange Opportunities for Exceptional Students

The Global Citizenship Certificate Scholarship offers exceptional undergraduate students with financial need the ability to participate in a Global Exchange program at one of 40+ international universities (for 1 semester) or a Beyond Borders short-term intercultural exchange program to Jamaica or Germany (for 1 or 3 weeks respectively).

This scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in both the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society and the Global Citizenship Certificate and offers the following awards.

  • $1,000 – Global Exchange (fall or spring)
  • $500 – Global Exchange (summer)
  • $500 – Beyond Borders Germany
  • $250 – Beyond Borders Jamaica

Scholarship applications for Beyond Borders Germany/Jamaica or a spring Global Exchange are due November 1, and applications for a fall or summer Global Exchange are due April 1.
