Assessment is defined as: “any effort to gather, analyze, and interpret evidence which describes institutional, divisional, or agency effectiveness” (Upcraft and Schuh, 1996).

Assessment of programs and services provides the Division of Student Affairs with critical information. We utilize this information when planning for future events, applying for accreditation, and by showcasing the many strengths seen throughout the Division of Student Affairs.

We collaborate with campus partners on assessment across the university. We assist DSA departments with various steps in the assessment process including creating student learning and program outcomes, designing survey instruments, and analyzing data. We are always striving for new ways to measure the impact and success of our programs and services.
