Postponed: Faculty and Staff Campaign Kickoff

Unfortunately, due to today’s inclement weather, the 25 for 25 Faculty and Staff Campaign kickoff in front of Strozier Library has been postponed to a date to be determined.

To learn, or to contribute to the 25 for 25 Faculty and Staff Campaign, you may visit one.fsu.edu/25for25. We will alert you of the new date for the kickoff once the event has been rescheduled.

Though the rain washed out today’s event, it didn’t dampen our pride and enthusiasm for Florida State University. The University would not as great without you, and we certainly will not continue to improve in rank and reputation without your help. Thank you for your support.

Dear Colleagues,

The pride we share in Florida State University has never been more evident than in recent years. Florida State already is a national leader in many academic disciplines, with a number of programs ranked in the top 25 and several ranked No. 1. With your continued support, FSU will reach its goal of breaking into the top 25 rankings among all public universities. Florida State climbed two spots since last year to No. 40 in U.S. News & World Report’s "Top Public Universities," and we are certain to continue on this positive trajectory.

Because your support is critical in reaching the next level of academic excellence, we urge you to join us in the 25 for 25 Faculty and Staff Campaign. Supporting the campaign is simple; join FSU’s quest to become a top 25 public university by including a "25" in your contribution, whether it’s $25, $100.25, $250, $2,500 or any amount that’s appropriate for you. While your support can be directed anywhere, our featured initiative is University Libraries.

Though the Libraries do not have alumni of their own, nearly every University constituent has utilized the Libraries’ resources. Supporting the Libraries ensures that everyone – whether undergraduate or graduate student, staff member, faculty or visiting scholar – has access to the tools they need to achieve success.

On March 5 at noon, FSU faculty and staff will host the inaugural 25 for 25 Campaign kickoff in front of Strozier Library. The kickoff will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the campaign from faculty and staff members who have played an integral role in planning this important initiative and learn more about University Libraries from Dean Julia Zimmerman and her staff. We hope you will make plans to attend the kickoff and participate in the library tours that will follow, featuring Heritage Protocol – home of FSU’s historical archives, The Robert B. Bradley Reading Room, items from FSU’s Special Collections Division and more.
