Seminole Sensation Week 2017

Florida State University presents Seminole Sensation Week August 23 - 29, 2017

Before Florida State University’s fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 28th, students can participate in Seminole Sensation Week from Wednesday, Aug. 23rd to Tuesday, Aug. 29th — 7 days of fun activities designed to help them learn about the many ways to get involved on campus and meet other students who share their interests.

During Seminole Sensation Week, students can enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring Hundred Waters, Tank and the Bangas and Hop Along; midnight movies at the Askew Student Life Cinema; karaoke at the Club Downunder; bowling and billiards at Crenshaw Lanes; performances in the Oglesby Union Ballrooms; and much more. For a complete schedule, visit ssweek.fsu.edu.

On Sunday, Aug. 27th, the New Student Convocation will take place from 1:30 to 2:30pm at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, 505 W. Pensacola St., followed by the President’s Welcome from 2:30 to 3:30pm.

On Aug. 29th, there will be a signature event, the fall Involvement Fair from 5 to 8pm in the Oglesby Union, which provides students with information on hundreds of recognized student organizations and departments and features Seminole Showcase.
