We listen. We learn. We care. We respond.

The Division of Student Affairs has heard the voices of survivors of power based personal violence – as shared on social media, through testimonies shared during the SGA Senate meeting, and as reported to the University.

We are committed to learning from our students, and as a first step have created a series of sessions dedicated to the specific and complex issues of survivor support, University response, prevention, activism and a special session on the new federal Title IX regulations.

Florida State University is deeply committed to our students. We are all responsible for preventing and reporting sexual misconduct and providing a supportive environment.

We will not tolerate sexual misconduct.

The Division of Student Affairs in concert with our community will develop strategic initiatives to address culture, reporting, policy, awareness, and support concerns. We must work together to make Florida State University a safer place.
