About Us
Women in Leadership workgroup was created to increase productivity, enhance collaboration, inspire organizational dedication, and uplift women in the Division of Student Affairs.
Activities & Goals:
- Women in Leadership workgroup sends out weekly communications - Motivational Monday, Women Wednesday, and professional development information to the members via Microsoft Teams.
- We also started the Brown Bag Series for 1-hour lunch&learn sessions for those attendees.
Co-leads will provide guidance and support to Women in Leadership by encouraging our colleges in the areas of diversity, business performance, role modeling, skills, and qualities. Creating a positive impact that benefits our workgroup is a top priority.
What interested you about this activity?
"The opportunity to learn and grow with like-minded professional women in DSA. Also, during the interest meeting, DSA provided a platform for WIL to share experiences and strategies to help break through the glass ceiling of women in higher education."
How has this group influenced your life?
"WIL has provided mentorship and support, allowing me to learn from others in their professional development paths."
