Florida State honored Martin Luther King Jr. Monday by shining a spotlight on the university’s Civil Rights Institute.

The institute was created in 2018 to celebrate and study the civil rights movement.

Reverend R.B. Holmes of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church gave the keynote address at Monday’s event.
