As the circus continues to recover from last year’s disastrous tornado outbreak that completely destroyed its Big Top tent, shows will return in full swing this fall. In the meantime, a full concrete flooring was recently poured ahead of a new big top’s arrival from Italy in mid-March.

When Florida State University alumnus Micah Johnson looks back at his childhood, he remembers growing up near Orlando in a tough environment filled with shootings, stabbings, fights and brawls.
His experience is what gave him the drive to write and produce an exclusive one-man show that he will perform in to promote mental health and shines light on gun violence while also celebrating the 45th anniversary of FSU's “Mighty” Mu Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

The Food Recovery Network (FRN) makes several pickups each week, totaling over 1,000 pounds per semester.
Once the food is recovered and checked, it gets sent to programs like Unconquered Scholars and the Food For Thought Pantry.

Florida State University celebrated the opening of the National Pan-Hellenic Council Park (NPHC) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony after the university’s Homecoming Day parade on Nov. 22. The NPHC Park honors the nine historically African American/Black Fraternities and Sororities that fall under the National Pan-Hellenic Council (Divine 9), turning a long-held dream into reality.

Nov. 22nd, 2024 is when Florida State University marked a historic milestone by officially opening its new NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) Park Plaza. The plaza – formerly the Moore Auditorium Courtyard, is now a dedicated space displaying respective monuments for each of the nine historically Black fraternities and sororities.

Clad in garnet and gold, Seminoles young and old lined the parade route Friday as Florida State University kicked off a weekend of homecoming.
Proud FSU parents lined the sidewalks, watching their kids march in the parade. One parent said he met his wife at FSU and now their son attends the university.
“We were just elated,” he said. “and he’s been in the Marching Chiefs 4 years, and it’s been great to watch him progress.”
