The Division of Student Affairs will work towards two strategic priorities in the 2024-2029 cycle: Student and Organizational Success.
Strategic Priority 1: Promoting student success through student development for all students in the FSU community, including graduate students, international students, and students at all FSU locations (including both Panama City campuses and international study centers).
Goal 1: Belonging
We will create environments for students to feel a sense of belonging and connection to the FSU and local community.
Goal 2: Career Readiness
We will equip students with the skills necessary to succeed in fulfilling employment after graduation.
Goal 3: Engagement and Leadership
We will create opportunities for students to meaningfully contribute to student and community organizations.
Goal 4: Health and Wellness
We will promote holistic health and wellness in all areas of student life.
Goal 5: Services and Spaces
We will grow and adapt our services and physical spaces to accommodate evolving student needs and remove barriers to success.
Strategic Priority 2: Ensure organizational success across all units within the Division of Student Affairs.
Goal 1: Staff Excellence
We will develop and recognize all employees in the Division.
Goal 2: Efficiency and Longevity
We will prioritize efficiency and longevity in procedures and practices, and work to improve and diversify revenue streams to promote sustainability for our units.
Goal 3: Advancing the Profession
We will engage in service and scholarship to advance the student affairs profession at a national level.
