Florida State University (FSU) invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. This position provides direction and strategic leadership to University Housing, Off-Campus Student Life, FSU Childcare Centers, Study Away Centers, and FSU Panama City Campus Student Affairs, with a direct reporting line to a divisional-level Associate Vice President for Student Affairs.
The University has selected Greenwood Asher & Associates to assist with this national search.
In collaboration with the University senior leadership, this position oversees Division emergency response processes due to weather, university crisis, or other emergencies. The University Housing department is an auxiliary consisting of Administrative Services, Budget and Fiscal Services, Family Services, Residential Building Services, Residence Life, and Academic Initiatives and Living-Learning Communities. Candidate Campus Visits
Once the search committee has identified Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs finalists for in-person, on-campus interviews information regarding open forums will be provided. The candidates will be announced publicly approximately 24 hours prior to the start of their on-campus interviews. The candidates’ names, supporting materials, and a survey link will be added to the search site the day before they visit.
