What interested you about this activity?
I enjoy reading because it takes you to different places, time periods, etc. Also, I love to learn, especially when I am challenged to look at things from a different perspective. At times, reading also provides me with an escape from the craziness of this world.
How has this group influenced your life?
"I've the privilege to meet other professionals across FSU's campus, as well as explore and discuss different genres of stories, with those who also share a passion for reading such as myself."
What do you hope people get out of this group?
"1). That this is a safe, yet welcoming place, 2). Reading, especially within the confides of a group, can be a means of reducing one's stress levels, 3). The sense of accomplishment that comes when you complete a book, and most of all, a breeding ground for creativity/thinking outside of the box."
